What maintenance does my umbrella require?

To get the most out of your shade it's important that you take care of it.

Proper care and maintenance is important to extend the serviceable life of all Shadowspec
Umbrellas.

Freshwater rinses once a week will enhance the life of your Shadowspec umbrella.

In cases where you wish to store your Umbrella during the winter season, the canopy should be
cleaned, air-dried and stored in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Weekly inspection of your Shadowspec product is recommended. Loose screws should be tightened and any broken components replaced immediately to avoid further damage to your umbrella.

At the beginning of each season, we recommend checking and tightening your hardware. If you are in a coastal area, hose your umbrella down at the end of each season. Dry it out and then put your protection cover on before storing it away.
